IFA president, Joe Healy, has welcomed the publication of Project Ireland 2040, and its focus on the development and regeneration of rural Ireland. The Government unveiled the ambitious €116bn plan today (Friday 16), which outlined its vision for Ireland's development.
The shape of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), post 2020, could be quite different to the current one with more control vested at national level, according to Mairead McGuinness, MEP, and first vice-president of the European Parliament.
