An estimated €35m still owed to Irish farmers

 

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Michael Creed and his Department are being urged by IFA rural development chairman, Joe Brady, to make contact with all 3,500 farmers, who are still due their 2016 payment, and to indicate when they will be paid.

Minister for Agriculture Food and Marine Michael Creed met with the German Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture, Christian Schmidt, in Berlin today (March 16), at the first of three bilateral meetings Minister Creed is holding with EU agriculture ministers over two days.

Farmers still waiting for payment under GLAS Scheme

 

The IFA has urged the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed, to deliver the outstanding payments to the 14% of farmers in the GLAS Scheme, who are still due their first payment.
