Macra: ‘A network of friends from all walks of life’

Macra will, once again, have a strong presence at this year’s National Ploughing Championships, showcasing all that this voluntary organisation has to offer young people from rural Ireland.

Macra representatives and members will be on hand to offer information and advice on membership, Macra Agricultural Skillnet, Make the Moove, and much more.
“The ploughing stand will highlight all that is Macra. People will find information about our memberships – regular and patron – our offerings and be able to talk to our members about their experiences in the organisation,” said a spokesperson.
“We are an all-inclusive real life, local, social network, that gives people the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of events and activities, make new friends, learn new skills and thrive living in rural Ireland. Macra is purposely designed for people ages 17-35 who are connected to the countryside who are keen to connect with other people in their local areas. We are a nationwide network of friends from all walks of life,” the spokesperson said.
