Ideal partner for high-output harvesters

Designed for work with high-capacity mowers and tedding on large acreage farms, the HD 1500/14 trailed rotary tedder is an ideal partner for high-output forage harvesters and baling outfits. Even spreading and turning are achieved with shorter inner than outer tines, avoiding contamination of the grass crop and enabling high dry matter fodder, especially in uncertain weather conditions and allowing operators to obtain the maximum output from high-capacity outfits including contractors and large-scale dairy and beef farms. The SIP HD 1500/14T covers 5mx3m swath widths.
Key features include a robust transport frame, patented hydraulic adjustment of rotor inclination, welded rectangular profile, maintenance-free finger clutch drives on each hinge and linked protection rails. A double safety clutch, specially developed for wider tedders from the SIP HD line, protects the rotor system by dividing the transmission of the driving torque to each side of the machine separately protecting the drive from overload.
The adjustable drawbar linkage with transport frame allows for road speeds up to 40km/h. The innovative hydraulic folding system enables easy preparation for work and stability and compactness during transport. The robust build of the Spider HD 1500/14T gives the implement the durability to stand up to the large-scale workloads. The segmented rotors are supported by multiple castor wheels which means the tedder can follow ground contours and maintain productivity even on steep fields.
