Veterinary Ireland’s AMR survey closes soon

The Veterinary Ireland Companion Animal Society (VICAS) launched a nationwide antimicrobial-resistance (AMR) survey of pet owners as part of its commitment to the One Health National Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance 2021-2025 (iNAP2).

Formally launched at the Vet24 Conference, the AMR Survey of Pet Owners 2024-25 will close on Friday, August 1, 2025. Veterinary Ireland is again all Irish pet owners to gain valuable data on their perception and knowledge of AMR. To assist with this survey VICAS is asking anyone who owns a pet, and who would like to participate, to complete the survey, and to also encourage pet-owning friends, family members, and work colleagues to participate.
