We were saddened by the death of Jim O’Mahony last month.
Jim was an outstanding crops specialist with Teagasc and gave a lifetime of service to the Irish agriculture sector through his research, advisory and mentoring roles. In latter years, as well as enjoying his golfing, sailing and travel pursuits, Jim contributed regular articles and opinion pieces to Irish Farmers Monthly, always providing unique insights into the topics covered. We offer our condolences to Jim’s wife Assumpta and his daughters, Cara and Saoirse. May he rest in peace.
