Ifac to launch 2026 Food & Agribusiness Report

Ifac returns to the National Ploughing Championships (The Ploughing) this year where it will launch the 2026 Food & Agribusiness Report. Now in its ninth year, it remains the only dedicated annual report tracking the state of Ireland’s food and agri-business sector. This year’s edition looks at whether the sector is actually ready for the pressures it’s facing right now, from AI adoption and governance to supply chain resilience, reputation management and succession planning. As always, it includes findings from Ifac’s nationwide survey, capturing what Irish food and agri-business leaders are thinking, offering insights that give practical guidance and real benchmarks to help businesses plan with more confidence.
Ifac’s presence will be part of the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Arena, where innovation, expertise, and forward-thinking solutions in the agri-food sector will be on show. Throughout the three days of The Ploughing, members of the Ifac team will also be participating in expert panels, sharing practical advice and thought leadership on topics ranging from financial planning to business strategy. These sessions will be an excellent opportunity to hear first-hand perspectives from industry specialists and gain actionable insights to take back to your business.
“Whether you are seeking clarity on succession planning, considering restructuring, or simply looking to connect with professionals who understand the agri-food sector, the ifac stand will be a valuable stop on your Ploughing itinerary. With our mix of practical resources, fresh research, and expert insights, we aim to help you face the challenges of 2026 with confidence,” said a spokesperson. Visitors are invited to drop by the stand to meet the team, pick up your free succession guide, and have a chat about how Ifac can support your business.
