UCD stand to focus on sustainable agri-food systems

Sustainable agri-food systems is the theme of the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science’s stand at the National Ploughing Championships (the Ploughing).

Over the course of the three days, visitors can hear about the latest developments taking place in research and innovation within the school through a range of live experiments and short talks. UCD, AgriAware and the Agricultural Sciebce Association (ASA) will, once again, be co-located for 2023 and together will deliver an exciting programme of talks.

As the only university in Ireland with a school devoted to agriculture and food science, a visit to this stand is a must for anyone considering a career or further education in agriculture, forestry, horticulture, food science or human nutrition. UCD offers a range of exciting programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education levels with staff and students available over the three days to discuss the wide range of options available.

With so many career opportunities available to graduates, the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science are inviting alumni to visit the stand and contribute to video testimonials that will provide an insight to prospective students on the wide range of career paths open to them.
